I think we have a slight misunderstanding. The eye4 app does work well in windows 10. It has a problem with one of the Dynamic Library links (XQP2P_API.DLL) that doesn't close properly at shut down (on my system). It maybe the driver for my network adapter, or the brand and model of that adapter, and not actually related to windows 10 directly. If you are saying that in your tested systems the error does not appear in your systems Reliability Monitor or event viewer, then that would be a reasonable assumption.
So far with the settings of Windows 7 compatibility and administrational permissions enabled (SuperIPCam.exe / properties / Compatibility tab), I have had no errors, with the exception of rare and odd behavior of camera positions changing(not related to a reset), everything appears to be good. So I will leave these settings as they are. Consider this matter closed and thank you again for your responses. |
