c7837wip FTP or SMTP

It doesn't work. Both can be set via win app or IE plug-in and final test passes ok. But after that it doesnt work properly. It menas it doesn't send any emails and also doesn't upload any pictures. In FTP settings dialog there is no way how to set folder for uploading..

Web UI Version   EN50.16.1.11

Thanks for your message, we have cancelled FTP setting and SMTP setting， the reasons as follows:
1,  To ensure transfer  File succeed , The network speed must be very fast;
2,  The FTP function cannot work in some strict,especially in some Countryside, mountain area。
3,  In additon,  FTP was not designed to be a secure protocol, and has many security weaknesses：
Brute force attack
FTP bounce attack
Packet capture
Port stealing (guessing the next open port and usurping a legitimate connection)
Spoofing attack
Username enumeration
FTP does not encrypt its traffic; all transmissions are in clear text, and usernames, passwords, commands and data can be read by anyone able to perform packet capture (sniffing) on the network.
