C16s DDNS feature disable

Hi,

It has come to my attention that I can remotely view my C16s camera (from the internet)
via the EY4 app.
I did not enable the DDNS service.
In the camera WEB interface there is no DDNS option.
The camera finder app reports a DDNS password that cannot be edited.

How can I disable the DDNS feature? I do not want to access the camera from the internet.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for our message, The DDNS settings are unavailable,  So the DDNS cannot work in IP camera finder.

Hi,

“IP Camera finder” software works only on the same local network that the camera is connected. Not remotely.
There is a DDNS password listed in the details.

I made the following test.
I went to a friend’s house and downloaded the “Eye4 for Windows“ software. After the installation I used my username /password to login to the application.
My camera was listed in the right side camera list.
I double clicked the camera to connect and the camera went live! I could remotely
access the recordings, manage the camera options and see the real time video.

The same happens with the Android application over a 4G mobile network or any other internet connection.
Why my camera is available outside my local network if DDNS is disabled or not available?
Is there something else that I need to disable?

Dear Sir/Madam,  "IP camera finder" software works only in the same local area network,  but not remotely,
For " Eye4 For windows",it can support remotely monitor camera, but not support DDNS in outside network.
we have cancelled DDNS settings in the year 2016.

All I wanted was an official reply that this is a normal behavior and nobody but me can access my camera.
I have already changed the default passwords but you never know….
I will create a different subnet with no internet access only for my camera management.

I wish someday, they will make their customers happy.

Vstarcam don't care about their customers but about customers money, after buying, no support, please read the q&a and reboot your camera, firmware updates are for remove some functions
