Hi,

I have been using eye4 app for  awhile now. today i came to use and i got this error(please check screen shot).
when i change the password and stop the camera and restart it is ok but when i log out it looses settings. This never happen before.

I have the same issue.
happened on C7824WIP after upgrading firmware to 48.53.184.25
but i can not access to camera at all (wrong password error)

Secondly
Firstly , at the  phone Eye4  , you enable the camera plaintext password , and set password  to be only  numbers .
Then login same   Eye4 account on computer , the camera will auto authorize viewing .  If  you want to view this camera with another APP , such IE browser or NVR , you need to input this Plaintext password to IE or NVR.

Hi, I have other old model G43S and I do not see the option to enable and disable Plaintext. However, my latest C42S do have the option.
My PC Eye4 not only new model have this issue, older model also have.
So how do I set enable plaintext password for older model?

Second important question.
My newer model C42S is set from my Samsung Note 20 phone.
In the Phone app, I can see all setting.
I have share the C42S camera to my wife phone and my own iPad. All different account.
My wife and my iPad cannot see the setting.
In the Device sharing - User management, I see my wife and my iPad account in the list.
How to make the, see all the setting?

Dear customer ,
Firstly , Why does C42S have a plaintext password, but G43S does not have this option?
Answer :  C42S adopts new firmware and new chip, it supports two-factor authentication function. So C42S supports  the plaintext password .
If you want to view C42S on phone and windows computer at the same time , You need to register 2nd Eye4 account on windows computer , then manually input C42S' s UID and the plaintext password into 2nd account .

Secondly, After shared C42S to another Eye4 account , why these accounts doesnot have this camera settings ?
Answer : Because C42S supports two-factor authentication, only the main account (your Eye4 account) can set all functions of C42S. Other accounts only have the right to check C42S real-time video. If you don’t want to share with others, you can directly cancel the camera sharing account in your Eye4 account.
