Eye4 indicated that there was new firmware and I thought that was the way to correct the problem.

I did the upgrade procedure and it progressed only to 61%. I waited 10 minutes but there were no changes. The cam didn't turn on again. Now it only turns on the red LEDs.

The "Camera finder" recognizes it, even with the new updated firmware:

When I try to revert to a previous firmware version, indicates that "unable to connect to the camera"

To upgrade the firmware, please give me the current firmware version of your camera, let's check if there is newer firmware, thanks!

Actual firmware (stopped at update and bricked) is 48.50.64.86

Extra information:
  • The device keeps the new password, generated by me.

  • The device maintains the Wifi settings
  • I can access to camera via Telnet. What is the method to update firmware via telnet? Should I copy the firmware to a particular folder?

    48.50.64.86 is the latest version .
    Please go to the link below to download IP Camera Finder  :  https://www.vstarcam.com/software-download
    Plug the Ethernet cable into camera and router to check if can detect camera IP address from IP Camera Finder . And check if can view on** via the Eye4 APP .

    The IP Camera Finder application recognizes the device. But the Eye4 app does not, as the camera does not start.
    I can only access it via telnet with the root user. What is the procedure to update the firmware via Telnet?

    Dear customer ,
    Please manually upgrade or downgrade firmware via IP Camera Finder .
    This camera firmware version only supports upgrade or downgrade via IP Camera Finder .
    If the camera still cannot upgrade or downgrade , there is no method to make it work .
