Camera won't send email when motion is detected

Hello

I have a Vstarcam C7824wip camera with the latest firmware.

The problem is that it won't send email notification when motion is detected.

Email notification is enabled and when I open the camera settings and test the email sending, it works fine and the email is sent.

However, when the camera is working and motion is detected, the camera only sends alert to my android phone but it does not send any email.

How can I make it send email ?

At the present , the DDNS and Email alarms: these fuctions are not stable and, have been feedbacked by customer all the time, our P&D colleague are not going to spend lot of time on fixing it, I suggust you not to use it, pls use the other client alarming modes, for example, in phone App client alarm notify modes.

This camera should NOT be sold with a description of something it clearly cannot do! This is the one function I needed and the ONE reason I purchased.

If, as support have described "not going to spend lot of time on fixing it, I suggust you not to use it, pls use the other client alarming modes, for example, in phone App client alarm notify modes." then can you at least give us some indication of WHEN it is likely to be fixed, if at all?

I had the same problem, and I solve it by codding the email address of the receiver two times, one in the field receiver 1 and one in the field receiver 2 and now I receive emails with one picture.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for your message,  you have said it can send alert to your android phone,  it show that motion detection works.
please use an available email, and active it , what is more, please upgrade your camera firmware to the latest version, as well as updating your APP to the latest version.
