Revitalized Heritage, Soaring Future: Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for EagletVision Artisan Village at Shuitian Ancient Village
A new chapter unfolds for an ancient village as its cultural legacy enters a fresh era. To advance rural revitalization while protecting the cultural heritage and upgrading spatial conditions of ancient villages, the grand groundbreaking ceremony for the EagletVision Artisan Village took place on June 21, 2026.
The event gathered core attendees including leading officials from the Shiyan Subdistrict Office, Yan Guochao, Chairman of EagletVision Group (parent company of Shenzhen VStarcam Technology Co., Ltd.), Lin Junping, Chairman of Shuitian Joint-Stock Cooperative Company, project design and construction teams, local villagers and corporate staff representatives. The gathering marked the launch of a comprehensive renovation, uniting government, enterprise, the village collective, and artisans in a shared mission to revitalize the historic site.
Centered on the core theme “Revitalized Heritage, Soaring Future”, the ceremony was designed around the philosophy of “cherishing local memories and pursuing shared co-development”. Breaking away from rigid formats of traditional groundbreaking events, each session was infused with humanistic warmth, linking the village’s past, ongoing construction and future vision, turning every guest into a witness of the hamlet’s renewal. Rooted in Bao’an District’s industrial strengths, the project taps into resources of an AI tech enterprise to feed local ancient village development. It serves as an innovative practice of market entities participating in urban-rural renewal under the “Hundreds, Thousands, Ten Thousands” Project (BQT Project)

I. United Endeavor: A Warm Ceremony Witnessing the Village’s Renewal
The ceremony officially kicked off at 10:08 a.m. The host introduced distinguished guests one after another, greeted by warm applause from the audience.

Yan Guochao, Chairman of EagletVision Group, took the stage to deliver a keynote speech. He shared that EagletVision Group has long focused on visual AI and intelligent security. Meanwhile, the EagletVision Artisan Village shoulders another core mission: safeguarding the village’s historic fabric and perpetuating traditional craftsmanship. Eschewing large-scale demolition, the project adheres to three core principles:
1.Restore old buildings to their original charm: Retain blue brick walls, black tile roofs and timber beam houses to the maximum extent and preserve local folk stories;
2.Functional empowerment: Integrate office spaces, exhibition halls, communication zones and leisure areas into ancient courtyards to revitalize idle premises;
3.Village-enterprise co-prosperity: Enable villagers to share the benefits brought by the project and build a living ancient village community.
Mr. Yan stated that the team will polish every renovation detail with craftsmanship in the months ahead, building an artisan village that balances classic charm and vibrant vitality.

A representative from the Shiyan Subdistrict Office then delivered a speech. He noted the subdistrict will continuously implement supporting policies under the BQT Initiative, providing resource coordination and planning support. He expressed expectations that this project will become a benchmark for organic renewal of traditional villages in Shiyan and offer replicable experience for the revitalization of urban villages across Bao’an District.
The highlight of the whole event was the heritage-passing groundbreaking ritual. Subdistrict officials, representatives of Shuitian Village Committee and group executives stepped onto the stage together, holding shovels to lay foundation soil. The ritual carries three profound implications: honoring time-honored heritage, embarking on a new development journey, and building cross-stakeholder collaboration. This symbolizes the harmonious coexistence and mutual prosperity of traditional cultural lineage and modern development. Warm applause echoed across the venue, officially kicking off the Shuitian Village renovation project of EagletVision Artisan Village.
II. Crafting Spaces, Reviving Legacy: An Innovative Model for Urban-Village Symbiosis
As a highly urbanized district, Bao’an addresses inefficient land use and unbalanced urban-rural development via comprehensive land consolidation, micro-renovation of ancient villages and integrated industry-village development as part of the BQT Initiative. The EagletVision Artisan Village is a tangible carrier of this development thinking.
Its core development concept takes the ancient village as the foundation, the enterprise as the driving force, craftsmanship as the soul and diversified functional scenarios as the carrier. Sticking to the principle of “protection first, activation second”, the project steps out of the fixed model of traditional industrial parks and commercial cultural tourism projects. It aligns with Bao’an’s urban village renewal strategy of simultaneous demolition, governance and revitalization, blazing a differentiated path for integrated urban-rural co-development.
In terms of spatial layout, the project adopts a progressive three-tier layout consisting of public, semi-public and private zones. Connected courtyards and winding paths form layered spaces, paired with varying light effects and material textures to create an immersive experience with gradual shifts. It delivers a natural transition from open reception areas to quiet office and communication spaces, striking a balance between corporate office demands and the authentic everyday vibe of the ancient village.
Traditional craftsmanship is fully carried forward throughout the renovation. The original village layout, alleyways and courtyard style are well preserved, while multiple functions including office, exhibition, communication and leisure are integrated. The design realizes efficient reuse of space while fully safeguarding local cultural heritage, forming a compound space with profound cultural connotations and human warmth. It provides a brand-new model for industry-city integration under the BQT Initiative across the district.

III. Building with Heart: Setting a Benchmark for Bao’an’s BQT Project
This groundbreaking ceremony marks a vital milestone for Shuitian Village to realize organic renewal and transformative development. It also stands as a landmark practice for EagletVision Group — a local tech enterprise rooted in Shiyan — to deeply engage in rural revitalization, take corporate social responsibility and implement integrated urban-rural development strategies. As a science and innovation enterprise based in Shiyan, the Group empowers ancient village revitalization with industrial strengths, and incorporates ancient village activation into its long-term development layout, realizing synchronized growth between corporate development and high-quality regional progress.
Moving forward, construction work will firmly uphold three core bottom lines: construction quality, site safety and protection of ancient village cultural heritage, and push forward renovation with high standards and refined management. The Group will deepen coordination with Shiyan Subdistrict Office and Shuitian Joint-Stock Cooperative Company, regularly listen to villagers’ voices and absorb public demands. Micro-renovation methods will be adopted to retain the village’s original texture and local memories.
Meanwhile, leveraging its core strengths in visual AI and intelligent security, the Group will further advance integrated development of technology industries and ancient village cultural tourism. Idle village spaces will be fully revitalized to inject sustainable growth momentum into Shuitian Village. Through solid on-the-ground efforts, the enterprise will facilitate full implementation of Bao’an’s BQT Initiative, and explore viable paths for revitalizing traditional villages in highly urbanized areas.
